BROKEN GLOWBroken Glow is a rock band from Brooklyn, New York. After leaving their original hometown of Hartford, Ct., the band moved to New York to pursue their musical goals. After a year or so of playing around the city and making new connections, the bands original singer departed and Garrett took on the role as the bands vocalist. Since that time, the band has found a renewed interest in their music, putting live shows together and sharpening every other aspect of their careers. With a plan in place Broken Glow’s is to release a new CD in early 2012 and returning to the road again by spring of that year.
Broken Glow has been featured on 106.9 WCCC’s (Hartford) homegrown band of the week and several radio stations in New York (Gotham radio). Garrett performed with Brandon Boyd and Mike Einziger of Incubus at the KRock festival in Los Angeles. Broken Glow has also played at Preservation Hall, New Orleans and at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Broken Glow’s recently released debut CD titled “Watercolors” has been getting rave reviews. Their lead single “Month of May” is a clear indication of the dynamics behind this group. The vocals are powerful and emotional with great harmonies and riveting guitar riffs. It is a perfect song to represent the CD as a whole with clearly identifiable common threads that run through all of them. The power and the passion of 4 electrifying members are only matched by their talent and skill. This is a recipe for success.
Broken Glow is always in a state of evolution in their own personal lives, in their music as well as performers. They deliver their personal best and are known to be the hardest working band in rock today.
