Among them, the best bakeries in Toronto will present the latest trend in wedding cakes. “We are very excited to present the new designs, flavours, and combinations that we created to match the trends in wedding styles,” said Alex Jasu, owner of Irresistible Cakes (popularly known as iCakes). “Ultra violet, 3D flowers, copper, and pearls, are some of the new elements we are integrating into our cakes,” he added.
But not everything is about design, some important trends in food and nutrition are also setting guidelines for weddings. According to Jasu, this is not an impediment for experienced bakers: “We created tasty recipes that are nut free, eggless and trans-fat free. We have an option for everyone,” he said.
