Movie That Took 22 Years to Finish Wins Critical Acclaim
Seattle filmmaker Paul Gorman finally finishes film that took 22 years to make.

BriefingWire.com, 1/17/2015 - Rain City Cinema announced today that its film "Broken Frame" won critical acclaim by U.K. film critic Brett Gerry. Gerry, who runs a popular film review had this to say about "Broken Frame": "This is an inspirational story from Paul Gorman and Rain City Cinema, and I suggest anyone who's ever struggled to make it in the film industry watches the entire film."

Rain City Cinema's Paul Gorman had this to say: "We are honored to have been selected and appreciate being showcased. Who knows where it will lead. It's been a long journey for us and for 'Broken Frame'."

Filmed in 1987, Gorman's masterpiece sat unedited for 22 years due to a series of mishaps and life's curves. He is humbled by the experience. "I can honestly say that I can't remember the names of some of the actors," says Gorman. We've posted their face shots on our website and are keeping our fingers crossed that viewers will be able to provide us with their names."

Gorman hopes that the film will be an inspiration to filmmakers and anyone else with unfinished projects. "It feels good to finally finish it and get it off my back. It was nagging at me for a long time".

In addition to being the founder and owner of Rain City Cinema, Gorman's film "Ride the Sky" has been making the rounds at film festivals, where in 2014 it was an official selection at four film festivals, and his new film, "Roma Vendetta" is being distributed to film festivals world-wide.

Gorman also is the creator of the website B-Roll Cloud where filmmakers can share their work. He believes that eventually it will transform the way movie and TV news are made. "It's a new paradigm," said Gorman, "The ‘Y’ generation grew up sharing music, games, information and social contacts; they are comfortable with the notion of sharing and find it empowering."

Filmmaker Paul Gorman resides with his wife an dog in Redmond, Washington.
