We provide live-in care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, supporting and assisting you to help make your life or the life of a loved one easier. Our live-in care service enables you to carry on enjoying your own home, routine and have regular social interactions throughout your day.

If you have long-term care needs, you may need help with personal and medical care as well as other household tasks. Live-in care is for people who want to live in their own home but who need additional support to do this, enabling them to retain their independence and quality of life.

Our live-in carers work with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities or learning difficulties that cannot stay in their own home without this support.

It depends on the needs of each client if they need medically qualified carers or professionally skilled carers with caring experience. The care we offer at TLC provides relief for family members acting as carers, as well as allowing the individual to stay in their own home, in their familiar surroundings retaining their independence.

Our live-in care service is normally provided by carers on a two-week rotation. One carer stays with our client for 2 weeks and then hands over to another carer for the next 2 weeks and this ensures there are not constant changes in the carers coming into your home.

Our live-in carers are fully trained and live with you in your home, allowing you or your loved one to stay in their relaxed surroundings with a bespoke level of one to one care and support that is suited to your individual needs.

Before your live-in care starts with TLC one of our care managers comes to your home and assesses the level of support you need on a day to basis, along with the activities that a carer would help you with. This ensures that the care plan agreed is bespoke to you, your home and the things that are important to you. We understand that retaining independence is key to our clients and this is always a consideration when we are planning your care package.

We devote considerable time to members of the family and our patients to ensure we match our carers to each of our clients. The criteria include; our carers training, qualifications, personalities, hobbies and interests as we appreciate that someone coming into your home can take a while to adjust to.

Our live-in care services are a great thing to consider if a couple who have different support needs face the sad possibility that they may need to go into different care homes to be looked after. This can be the case as residential and care homes often differ with the levels and type of care they offer.
