Kaun Jeeta aur Kyun is the first novel of Ambika Kumar Sharma. Before stepping down in writing novel, he has been writing column, article and short story in magazines and newspapers. Resident of Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, Ambika Kumar Sharma has completed his masters in Physics. He has also served in Government services in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, i.e., Lucknow. His drama ‘Sadhna: Anusandhan se sandhan tak’ and novel ‘Aaryan – Ek alokik yodha’ has grabbed remarkable popularity in the field of art and literature. When asked about the book, he said that firstly the book is a small tribute to his parents and secondly, it is the way of life. The book tells how the world rolls throwing failure and success in everyone’s path. Further he says that the book not only incorporates the ups and downs in business but also that of the relationships.
Reverting to a journalist who asked about his source of inspiration, Ambika told that after departure of his father, his mother was the biggest and only support system for him. He grew up watching his mother’s struggle of life.
Narrating about his thought and perspective of life, he says that failure and success are like different tastes of life. Though they are very distinct but they are very closely linked. The taste of the one comes vibrant only if you have tasted the other first. The sadder you are, the happier you feel even if life gives you the tiniest positive ray of light. Hence, one should never engross too much into this and take life as it comes.
Furthermore, when asked about the book, he says that students who are at the verge of becoming an adult and holding the responsibility of the adulthood, plan things and face success and failure accordingly. Kaun Jeeta aur Kyu strives to facilitate this decision and plan making efforts of this younger generation. Everyone has their own way of dealing with the situation, the book instead of hampering with the way, show ways that bring sure success.

Lastly, he made everyone curious by revealing that soon his next book named “Paro ke Diye” will be flourishing in the market.
