Los Angeles, CA July 20, 2015 – Two legendary musicians have combined their talents to write, score and record the WCH theme song. The collaboration of MORRIS HAYES, the renowned music director for the legendary music icon PRINCE and the Australian singer, songwriter and hitmaker ALSTON KOCH takes center stage at the 3rd GOD Awards Night at the United Nations on August 7, 2015.The theme song, which is a gift by the two musical geniuses of our time to Princess Maria Amor and to her humanitarian causes, will be launched at the Conference room of the UN in NY on the same day of the awards night in the presence of dignitaries and global humanitarian awardees.
"We're finally able to up the ante of my music collaboration with Alston”, said Morris. “It is such an explicable feeling to have this opportunity to contribute to success of this event, by having the honor to write, score and record the theme song for WCH,” added Morris, who was the Music Director for PRINCE for more than 20 years and was inducted into the BLACK HALL OF FAME with citations from the best in the world of entertainment.
Morris has performed live with many of the legends of our time including his most memorable moments in Super Bowl half-time history with Prince in 2007. When not on stage performing, "Mr. Hayes" continued to produce, write, and record tracks for television and motion pictures.
“The guests, awardees and global humanitarian attendees of the night will all be treated with a night to remember especially because it is the first time that WCH’s theme will be heard publicly,” adds Alston Koch. “While the great mission of WCH was the main theme of this song, it is Princess Maria who was our inspiration in coming up with this theme song,” quipped Alston, who is a living legend in the Southern Hemisphere. Alston is an Australian singer-songwriter, film producer, record producer and an actor.
A winner of many Platinum & Gold records in Australia and Asia, Alston is also the 'Ambassador' for Tourism for Sri Lanka & the World Ambassador for Climate Change for the ICTP.
He was introduced to the world by the 8 time Grammy award winner Alicia Keys as a Legend & Superstar at the MTV Awards in 2004. He was awarded "World Artist of The Year" at the "Global Officials of Dignity Awards in 2014" presented at the UN in New York and has received State of California Senate's Certificate of Recognition and Certificate of Special US Congressional Recognition for improving the lives of the communities in America.
Alston has just completed the lead role in the soon to be released Hollywood film ' According To Mathew'. A member of The Grammy Academy, he recently had the No 2 hit album in Australia and Asia for SONY Records.
Morris and Alston have recently teamed up in providing Los Angeles, with state-of-the-art recording studios, and are now working on scores and music for two Hollywood films in their new recording studios in Burbank.
