With the idea of serving the best to their patrons’ interest and enhancing customer experience, Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications launched festive offers both for their new and existing pre-paid customers, a company statement confirmed. Existing customers having RCOM connection in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) can recharge their accounts with the newly launched 'NonStop Plan' to enjoy 1,000 local and STD minutes, along with unlimited calls to both local and STD Reliance users.
Not only for existing, but RCOM has also extended the offer for new pre-paid customers with a new SIM as a 'welcome offer'. "Customers will enjoy full talk time, free data and a special calling rate of just 25 paise per minute with the 'DoubleScoop Plan'. The 2G DoubleScoop Plan in Delhi and NCR starts from Rs 141 recharge which gives Rs 141 talk time and 5GB of data usage, along with 25 paise per minute call rates for a period of three months," the statement said.
For 3G services, the telco giant is offering festive plans starting from a recharge of Rs 295 which gives full talk time and 3GB of 3G data usage, along with 25 paise per minute calling rate for three months.
Recently RCOM also announced the merger of its wireless telecom business with Aircel, in which both the companies hold equal stake. They will also have equal representation on integral panels of board of directors and other committees. The company will run under the supervision of the board by a panel of professional team. The new entity created is said to have an asset base of over $9.7 billion and net worth of Rs.35,000 crore ($5.2 billion) and will also be the second largest spectrum holder amongst all the leading operators, holding 448 MHz across the 850, 900, 1800 and 2100 MHz bands.
