Join us this coming Tuesday in downtown Aurora, IL at the Ballydoyle Restaurant for our monthly Aurora Green Drinks, on Tuesday April 12th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Our Green Drinks Speaker this week is Kelly Nichols. Kelly Nichols is the field organizer for Moms Clean Air Force in Illinois. Moms Clean Air Force is a national organization with over 600,000 members, 30,000 of which are in Illinois. Not just made up of moms, the organization’s members care about clean air and a healthier future for the planet. Moms Clean Air Force also looks at concerns like toxic chemical reform, methane emission regulation, and smog and ozone issues. Kelly works in Illinois with other organizations of parents, health advocates, and environmentally conscious citizens who want to make sure that every community has cleaner air. People today, moms included, have very busy lives, so making advocacy and action available to people who want to make a difference is important to benefit everyone.
