Banamine Injectable is used to treat musculoskeletal disorder pain and inflammation. This product is also used secondary for fever and pain.

PET SYMPTOMS

The limbs of a horse are able to move through contractions and relaxations of the muscles against bone. These muscles are composed of thousands of fibers which are stimulated through nerves responses from the central nervous system. In some horses, disorders of the musculoskeletal system prevent the naturally occurring movements.

How it Works

The fever-reducing, anti-inflammatory, non-steroidal ingredients of Banamine, stimulates pain receptors and the cells they produce known as prostaglandins. As these prostaglandins are stimulated the muscle pain is relieved and returns to a normal state.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Equine:

• Intravenous injection:

o Locate neck vein on right or left side of the horse.

o Rub the hair upward and then down to locate the view with ease.

o Inject needle portion of syringe into vein to ensure vein has been reached.

o Inject correct dosage into vein.

• Intramuscular injection

o Locate neck muscle or rump muscle

o Inject needle portion of the syringe into muscle (needle injected alone due to horse kick reflex and chance for misplaced injection).

o Attach syringe with medication and inject
