The Model 7329 8-position RJ45 Switch manufactured by Electro Standards Laboratories in Cranston RI, features outstanding Cat6 switching capability with RS232 Remote Control and is only 1U high. The Model 7329 dimensions are 19” W x 1.75” x 8” D (48.2 x 4.4 x 20.3 cm) and it weighs approximately 5.5 lbs. (2.5 Kg). An optional wide range power module, Catalog No. 517277, is available with the Model 7329. The table mount power module is rated for 100VAC/240VAC and 50Hz/60Hz. The Model 7329 combined with this power module create an ideal switching solution for worldwide applications.
This unit eliminates the need to plug and unplug cables by allowing quick connection to any one of eight RJ45 interface devices from one common device. The Model 7329 features 8 front panel pushbuttons to individually control switch position. Via ASCII RS232 Serial Data Remote Commands the user can remotely lockout front panel pushbuttons and control and monitor the switch position.
The unit switches all eight pins of the RJ45 interface making the switch applicable to switching any RJ45 interfaced device. The Model 7329 is transparent to data speed and format. This reliable switch retains its last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data. An attractive anodized black box packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding.
