BRASH! Magazine, formerly BRASH! – A Music Marketing Blog, has released its official magazine issue debut date. On March 16, 2016, BRASH! Magazine will release its first issue highlighting independent artists, fashion experts, and more. BRASH! Blog shut down its normal operations in October 2015 to start focusing more on building the publication brand as well as develop concepts/content for the debut issue. With the success and expansion of BRASH! Blog, it made sense to explore the area of magazine publication. Now, readers who engaged, subscribed, and enjoyed the blog content will be able to read and explore BRASH! within a magazine format this upcoming spring.The birth of this idea came in 2014, when BRASH! Blog decided to provide more opportunities for Independent Artists to be featured within in the BRASH! brand platform. “One to two Indie Artist features per month weren’t enough for BRASH!. We wanted to expand into a bigger media outlet to allow more opportunities for not only indie artists, but indie labels, indie fashion brands/professionals, as well as give more opportunities for individuals who wanted to work behind the scenes in getting their writing published or to gain experience in working with an entertainment magazine”, says Creator/Editor-In-Chief, E. Alexcina Brown.
The spring release of BRASH! Magazine will allow Indie Artists to promote their new music, brand, upcoming performances/appearances, and other pertinent information that they would like their fans/the public to know about their musical journey. In addition, a new element of fashion will be added to BRASH! to gain more readers as well as provide a platform for freelance/indie fashion brands.
