Calling Card Rip Off Company
Calling Cards Worth Not Buying

BriefingWire.com, 6/26/2011 - A bunch of the calling card companies seem to rip people of with so much impunity.

Frankly, I find it to a Herculean task to select the proper cards for making calls.

I bought one today that I cannot even figure out the name of the company behind it.

I bought card with a face value of $2 to call my mother. This card claims to give 30 minutes of air time for international call I was about to make.

The company in question listed their toll free # as 1 877 780 9328.

The call out # 1 800 915 1614 Pin # 317 3010 357. The call was made in the morning on June 26, 2011.

I was happy to pick the card and started making call to happily speak with my mother.

The first call did not connect and 25% of the card value disappeared. The second attempt had similar fate.

I am now left with less than $1 to make the call. I called to speak to their customer service to no avail.

I got answering service that directed to their class action law suit as the first option.

The second option said that I must wait for a period of thirty minutes or more to call back.

I made the third call and was directed to entirely a different person. I hung up, tried for the fourth time and got my mother on the phone. I said hello and the card was exhausted in less than two minutes.

So much for thirty-minute air time.

I called their customer service again and was credited with 38c.

I could not speak to anybody.

Their toll free number transferred me to the customer service and there was no person there. The next phase said to hold on and leave a message for a particular weekday and that never happened.

This was the second time I bought this card to prove my point.

I am left to wonder about certain things.

How many people could this be possibly happening to all over the world with this card and other unscrupulous ones?

Do they think that the customers would not complain?

Do they think that they cannot be regulated?

It is beginning to look like some of them are in the business to reap people off.

All I could luckily get was Hello. I am looking for a different brand to call my mother.

I get good reviews for what I offer to the public on my book, "Lottery Pal" for $2.99.

So much for thirty minutes of air time.
