“Sanitation is more important than political freedom” Inspired by these words of Mahatma Gandhi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has launched a massive public awareness campaign on cleanliness, “Swachchh Bharat Abhiyaan”. To pay tribute to the Father of the Nation, Amity University Gwalior also participated in this massive campaign.In the Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan initiated on Bapu’s birthday acting Vice Chancellor of Amity University, Prof. (Dr.) R S Tomar called upon the teachers, staff members and students to take a pledge of Clean Campus, Clean Gwalior and Clean India and administered the pledge to all the participants.
All the teachers, authorities, staff members and students actively participated in this campaign and started the Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan by cleaning the area of Block-A of Amity University Gwalior.
