The purpose of the annual dinner was to interact with employees and congratulate them on the success of the company as a result of their contribution. The Management wanted ideas to make the evening full of entertainment, enjoyment and fun. They wanted the best food and wine to be served and the most popular band to play that evening.”
According to sources the IT Company is a market leader in the space of Business Intelligence and today has more than 15% of the market share in the state of Georgia. Its flagship product is a top selling BI solution that is feature rich and way ahead of its competitors. The company has done quite well in recent months and actual sales have crossed targets.
Mr. Buffington further said “The company has 65 full time employees out of which about 60 were expected to turn up and as the management had extended the invitation to their partners also, the guest list stood at about 120 – 125 people. To entertain 125 guests, we came up with an innovative plan:
- The event was planned for 4 hours - starting at 19.00 and ending at 23.00
- Round tables were planned with 10 people to sit around a table.
- Names of the guests to be mentioned on the table.
- Welcome drinks to be served on arrival.
- The CEO to make a presentation on the company’s performance and make key announcement
- Award to be given to best performers.
