Speaking on the occasion the founder and owner of Cold Creek Farm Jeff Buffington said "We are convinced that individual contributions can make a collective difference to the environment."

Last week there was a 2 day workshop organized at Cold Creek Farm by 'Young Greens', an environment protection agency set up in Georgia that supports issues related to reduction of effluents that are released into the water. The organization had hired the barn and the dining area at Cold Creek Farm. A conference was set up on the first day in which experts voiced their concerns at the rising levels of pollution around the world and put forward measures that could help alleviate the level of pollution on planet earth. The experts came from different universities and research organizations in the US and focused mostly on how to bring down the level of pollutants in air and water.

As per Jeff Buffington “The guests enjoyed the peaceful and serene atmosphere of Cold Creek Farm especially the rural settings of the barn that provided them much need space for relaxation and comfort. The five course buffet lunch at the barn was a treat and was very delicious. It was a combination of American, Continental and Chinese cuisine. There were at least 4 different types of Starters and for drinks the choice was aplenty with some of the choicest wines around the world being offered. The dessert was a combination of fruit salads and chocolate mousse and ice-cream. There were about 150 guests at the conference and all of them were well served and well looked-after at the conference. “

Cold Creek Farm made arrangements for the audiovisual equipment that was used by the guests during the conference and Cold Creek Farm rented out a very large LCD screen that was used to project the different presentation of the conference speakers. Audio System was rented out by Cold Creek Farm to the conference organizers and cordless mikes were also provided to those guests who wanted to ask questions.

Overall Jeff Buffington was very satisfied that the conference was a success and guests liked the facilities offered at Cold Creek Farm. “We are hopeful o host the conference again next year” he said.
