Daniel DeKoter graduated with a degree in Philosophy and English, from Calvin College, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1977. He later enrolled at the University of Iowa Law School and in 1980, graduated in the top 20% of his law school class. In addition to this, in June 1980, he also passed the Iowa bar examination. He is a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated lawyer, and has been serving Sibley, Iowa based DeKoter, Thole & Dawson, P.L.C. (formerly known as the Corcoran, Skiver & Zito law firm), since 1980. A well qualified legal professional, Dan is also serving on the Village Northwest Unlimited Board and East Oaks Estates Property Owners Association.
