Houston, Texas – There is a brewing storm of economic and entertainment activity in Houston as city leaders grapple with budget concerns and governance. Business leader and politician Tex Christopher is bringing leaders together and casting a vision that is resonating.“We’ve already made big announcements regarding our plans to create 20,000 jobs via the seismic economic shift currently underway from Hollywood to Texas with my company,” says Tex, “We are now grafting other interests into the equation as we focus on the East Side with our planned $25M budgeted TV series entitled ‘East Side’.”
“We are going to bring a big positive spotlight to the area with 10 episodes and a slate of 14 other motion pictures valued at $150M,” says Mr. Christopher, CEO of Tex Christopher Studios.
Tex Christopher recently met up with local Cultural Arts and Political Leader Eduardo Lopez de Casas who represents and works with many Latino performers from the U.S. and South America to discuss future improvements for the East Side of Houston.
“I'm very happy to discuss future opportunities for the East Side that will benefit the arts community and local Hispanic Artists who have so much to offer our city and the world”, says Mr. Lopez de Casas, “I also think that we need more Spanish style architecture and color in the East End so that it becomes an international gathering area with shops, restaurants and a true international, performance center which would promote international visual and musical art.”
Tex Christopher Studios will be working with Mr. Lopez de Casas to leverage a Latino Music and Motion Picture division for the burgeoning market.
