Gilat Satellite, Thuraya, ViaSat, NewSat Join MILSATCOM Asia
Greg Cowie of NewSat will talk about the company's upcoming Ka band satellite at the 2012 MILSATCOM Asia in Singapore.

BriefingWire.com, 5/03/2012 - Thuraya, Gilat Satellite, NewSat, ViaSat and other leading and emerging military satellite communications providers in the Asian region will join the 2012 MILSATCOM Asia Conference in Singapore this May 9 and 10. The Second MilSatCom Asia will gather military satellite providers and industry innovators, giving the space industry great opportunities to exchange valuable information and tools to better adapt to the growing market for military satellite products.

Lockheed Martin is elected to manufacture the satellite, which is scheduled to operate across Asia, Middle East and Africa by 2014.
