Corona, Calif., August 31, 2016 – The Grindhouse comedy “Bloody Bobby” will premiere October 7th at the KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival (KaPow IFF), held at the Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres in Corona, CA.

“Bloody Bobby” is a retelling of a modern urban legend of a young boy who goes missing on Halloween and the events that unfold on the 20th anniversary of his disappearance. Robert Miano (“Donnie Brasco”) stars as the eccentric and all-knowing Old Man Granger. Jessica Morris (“One Life to Live”) appears as Crystal Cochran. In a breakout role, Curt Clendenin (“Blues Brothers”) plays Reggie Griffin, a small town deadbeat with a dark past, as well as his clean-cut twin brother Alex.

The film is produced by Black Pumpkin Pictures and co-written by Ryan McGonagle and Jen Mathiasen. “We are so excited to premiere our movie at the KaPow IFF,” says McGonagle. “We have been working on this film for the last six years and we are ecstatic to be able to finally share it!”

KaPow IFF will be held at the Dos Lagos Luxury Theatres, located within the sprawling Shops At Dos Lagos campus, 2780 Cabot Dr. #140 in Corona, CA 92883. The four-day event runs October 6-9, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., on two screens each day.

Proceeds from KaPow IFF will be donated to The Wayne Foundation, a charity providing direct assistance to those victimized by exploitation. The Wayne Foundation was founded by Jamie Walton and renowned director Kevin Smith, creator of the Mallrats, Clerks, and Jay and Silent Bob franchises.
