But the critics were utterly disappointed with the bad script and the way the film was dealt by the director Nikhil Advani. There are no magical moments in the film either in the romance or the plot to save this melodrama in spite having a talented star cast. The film has received negative reviews altogether from the critics and it is finally left to the audience to give their judgment on this terribly boring film.
Gangster is also released this Friday which is inspired on the extortion cases by the Meeruthiya gangsters with six youths turning into kidnappers. But the amateurish direction, music and weak plot is not worth spending your time on it. With nothing concrete and new faces this film is going to have a hard run for its money at the box office.
The last Friday release “Hero” which is also from Nikhil Advani too got negative reviews from the critics being declared as a flop. But with no tough competition from any other latest Bollywood movies the film seems to be faring well at the box office weekend with good collections. Surely the promotion and Salman Khan tag has brought the openings, but the film is no way a match to the original version of “Hero” from ace director Subhash Ghai.
The other movies that you can still have a look at playing in the theaters and offering some entertainment is Anees Bazmee’s “Welcome Back”.
Overall the latest Bollywood movies in the month of September are a huge let down with no major hits registering at the box office.
