Layman's Legal Empowerment is questioning why the policeman who ended the life Eric Garner has not been arrested. In an article published August 4th, the legal activism site is asking for citizens to leave comments so that Layman's Legal can present its case to the police department and any other agencies charged with enforcing the law.
"We expect the comments to become a petition that carries weight. Shouldn't a person who takes a life at least be arrested? Do cops get special treatment for this? says a Layman's Legal Empowerment spokesperson.
The list of comments will also be presented to Reverend Al Sharpton.
