Lousine Karibian, To Receive Special Distinguished Service Award
Members of the Armenian Community Will Come Together on May 24, Memorial Weekend to give special recognition to those who have served their community through their positive contributions.

BriefingWire.com, 4/25/2014 - Lousine Karibian, the Founder and President of The World Networks. is set to receive the prestigious Distinguished Service Award presented by the HYASA Foundation for her work in building positive community business and professional relationships. Lousine created a networking alliance designed to market members of The World Networks to connect with businesses and individuals globally. The organization raises awareness through the power of networking for various charitable organizations and environmental programs in the communities they serve.

The Award will be presented on May 24, 2014 in Glendale, California as part of a special tribute to Veterans who served in the military. The celebration is the first in a series of planned charity events by the HYASA Center, a Non-Profit Organization. This foundation, along with the AA Musical & Theatrical Society, (known for organizing a wide range of popular cultural events to shed light on the Armenian Performing Arts in the US and abroad) have partnered with HYASA to present a memorable event for our Veterans and Military Families. Also lending his support is Mr. Gary Sevani, a world renowned International Dance Choreographer and Director. Mr. Sevani is passionate about his involvement in this event that will support "New Direction for Veterans” & Veterans at the Los Angeles Veteran’s Affair Medical Center.

There will be entertainment by a number of local and national artists. Gracing the stage are the following performers; Vocalist Marat Hayrapetyan, vocalist Arthur, aka, Mister X, Miss Golda Berkman, a 15 year old Soprano Operatic Singer with an angelic voice who has been training with Vladamir Chernov at UCLA's Division of Voice and Opera; Mr. Mengesha Francis aka "Mystro", is a Piano Virtuoso who has been described as the "Black Liberace" and the "Hidden Gem Of Hollywood", comes equipped with his own Quartet Jazz Band; Scottish Pipes & Drums are an eclectic group of traditional Scottish Bagpipe musicians who have been performing in Southern California for over 30 years; and the awarding winning Pasadena Crown City Chorus, a barbershop harmony society chorus who has been performing for over 60 years.
