Los Angeles - Meeghan Henry, the Indonesian-born current Miss Teen Asia USA, showed her support for the Indonesian party. In the middle of her busy schedule, she wanted to show up for this important event. The Patriot Party is a political party in Indonesia that was established as the Pancasila Patriot's Party. It came about after many discussions that took place at the sixth national conference of the Pancasila Youth organization. The event in Los Angeles celebrated it's 52nd year.
The event also celebrated the youth pledge, which is a declaration that was made on October 28 in 1928 by young Indonesians at a conference. The pledge proclaims three ideals, one motherland, one nation, and one language.
"The party makes me proud to be an Indonesian. And by supporting this party, I feel like I can support my country from abroad, and that's really important to me," Henry said.
Henry and other Indonesian celebrities, such as Tania Gunadi from Disney channel and Matthew Jacob, are among the many people who attended the event.
