Met Office Predictions For The UK Could Mean Increased Usage Of Portable Air Conditioning
The Met office has predicted that the UK is going to become much warmer in the years ahead and of course the consumer should now be taking action on how to cope with hot summers in the home and seek out the best way forward.

BriefingWire.com, 1/09/2013 - The New Year has been heralded in and the nations minds are on what lies ahead for 2013, maybe a new car, or a great holiday. The Met office has predicted that the UK is going to become much warmer in the years ahead and of course the consumer should now be taking action on how to cope with hot summers in the home and seek out the best way forward.

If we are to believe the weather men it won’t be long before every home in the country will need air conditioning in the home the buzz words ‘climate change’ will make sure of that. For many years now the UK has had the sort of climate that did not warrant any cooling in the home, but things have changed, and temperatures of past summers are gone, as climate change takes a grip.

If a home owner is of the opinion that installing an air conditioning system is a step too far, then portable air conditioning units will work just as well, either in the home or office, or just about any place you need cooling, as it is portable the unit can be moved from room to room when the going gets hot.

With an immense change in technology, it is NOT ‘Hobson’s Choice’ (no real choice at all, the only options being to either accept or refuse the offer that is given to you). The new generation of portable air conditioners offer a range of units with either cooling only or cooling and heating mode.

Portable air conditioning today like any appliance marches on with new technology to make life easier for the consumer. With portables in the past they needed to be attended to with the emptying of the internal drip tank, this today is the thing of the past as new models re-use 75% of water the appliance creates.

A spokesman for Climachill, a family owned and run air conditioning company specialising in anything air con said “it is certainly becoming more common to install air conditioning into domestic environments in the UK, and we have installed a great many wall split systems, but if this is out of the question then we can supply any model of portable air conditioner.”

The spokesman went on to say “we are warned of climate change and global warming and the Government is urging the nation to be more energy efficient, and in some instances handing out grants. We as a nation need to move away from old ideas and embrace new ones, and know in our minds that homes in the UK will definitely need some sort of air conditioning in the future”.

2013 will probably see many changes and will ensure that consumers will seek the best way forward to make changes that are efficient and easy on the pocket.
