The mediator or the catalyst for implementing the entire MGPSY scheme offered by India’s Ministry of Overseas is UAE Exchange, which will be working in sync with Alankit Assignments.The institution will be accepting forms from Indian expatriates with ECR passports and will issue Pension and Life Insurance fund as well as Permanent Retirement Account number. The funds will be paved to India through normal banking channels.
In order to get more positive results the company is all set to extend its services to all the 17 ECR countries that include the GCC countries viz. Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Malaysia.
Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Suraksha Yojana Scheme (MGPSY) is a pension and life insurance fund scheme recognized by Indian Government to enable and motivate offshore Indian blue collared workers to contribute and save for their return, resettlement, old age and obtain life insurance cover. The part amount contributed by the Indian government in the aforesaid scheme is the main motivating factor.
