Q1: How do I import .mxf files (from my hard drive) into Final Cut Pro? I have tried log & transfer, it doesn't seem to work. Tried XDCAM transfer tool, doesn't work either. Any solutions?

Q2: I just purchased a Canon C300 and it records in MPEG-2, MXF, 4:2:2 file type t 50mbs. I understand this to be the same as the Canon XF100's and XF300's. It does not appear that FCP X supports this directly. Am I missing a step or is this planned?
