BriefingWire.com, 12/01/2011 - Manahawkin, NJ – The New Jersey Second Amendment Society (http://www.nj2as.com) announced on their website that Evan Nappen, David Jensen and Alan Gura will be addressing NJ2AS members at their next three meetings.

“Never before in the history of New Jersey rights organizations have any one group brought together so many important defenders of the Constitution in a series of presentations such as these.” said Frank Jack Fiamingo, President of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society. “We are bringing you these events in an effort to foster a better understanding of the importance of the right to keep and bear arms in New Jersey and throughout our Nation.”

Evan Nappen who recently defended Brian Aitken and was instrumental in negotiating his release from New Jersey State Prison, is the Attorney who wrote the book on New Jersey Gun Laws (http://www.evannappen.com/). New Jersey Firearm owners have been relying upon the information in Evan's book since the first edition.

Nappen will be signing his book, which will be available at a discount as well as discussing current issues of concern to NJ Firearms owners. Most importantly, he has agreed to open things up for an extensive Q&A session after his presentation.

David Jensen (http://djensenpllc.com) is a litigation, trial and appellate attorney and is the lead attorney by in “The Muller Case” that was brought by the SAF (http://www.saf.org) and the ANJRPC (http://www.anjrpc.org) against the state of New Jersey seeking to challenge the "justifiable need" clause contained in the current CCW licensing procedures. This case has already been heard in Federal Court and further litigation is expected.

Alan Gura is well-known in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (RKBA) community as the attorney who successfully argued both the Heller and the McDonald cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Alan is the founding partner of Gura & Possessky, PLLC. His achievement in Heller, McDonald and additional lawsuits has established the RKBA as an INDIVIDUAL right rather than a right of the “state militia” or the people as a “collective”.
