NurseStaffing, a healthcare firm with 16 locations nationwide, is now offering non-medical in-home care services to seniors in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The division, NurseStaffing@Home, provides 24/7 assistance to older adults who need help with bathing, meal preparation and other activities of daily living. According to Branch Leader, Nora Platt, “We are the first NurseStaffing office in the country to provide non-medical in-home care. We are always on call and can help clients around the house for a few hours a week or for longer periods after a hospital discharge.”
The unique branch was started in 2012 and has become popular with seniors throughout the Valley. Platt credits their fast growth due to the increasing senior population in Phoenix and the extensive screening process they use when hiring caregivers.

Platt adds that they are seeing a rise in calls from adult children, both in Arizona and from Out of State, who are trying to obtain in-home help for their loved ones.
