Process Improvements in the Rat Race of Total Quality Management
ProcessModel provides a method of quickly understanding complex business processes by using non-traditional methods to “prove” processes in the computer before implementing in real life.

BriefingWire.com, 7/16/2013 - The downturn of economy requires companies to make process improvements at an increasing pace or face extinction. The nature of modern business involves complex processes that that are not easy to understand let alone change quickly with confidence. ProcessModel provides a method of quickly understanding complex business processes by using non-traditional methods to “prove” processes in the computer before implementing in real life. Recent changes in version 5.5 provide many new ease-of-use features and extended capability to reduce the time needed to analyse any business process.

ProcessModel has reduced the time to create a process simulation by providing prebuilt segments of models in at the user’s finger tips. These prebuilt segments are called model objects and handle many of the most complex modelling operations. These model objects are readily available on the main tool bar and can be maintained quickly by hitting the update button. These optional updates supply the user with the latest approved model objects and related documentation.

Model objects are designed to handle the most difficult process and modelling problems. Often these “jewels” of modelling help were difficult to understand. Now a Narrate button provides an explanation and video of how the model object works and should be implemented. This allows a user to quickly determine if a model object is suitable or can be quickly modified to handle the process under study. These explanations can widen the horizon of the user to understand other possibilities for modelling, working as a teaching tool for modelling, simulation and analysis.

More than 150 new modelling messages help the user to quickly determine model creation errors. Detailed messages speed model development by pin pointing modelling problems that would be difficult to solve otherwise.

A user can now attach a narration to a model consisting video or audio files. These narrations are linked rather than attached so that models are still as compact as previous versions yet offer any level of explanation. These narrations can include assumptions, highlights, Power Point presentations, etc. so that all information needed to understand a model can be included.

New button bars now include the most common actions of the user. Single button clicks now preplace multiple steps.

ProcessModel enables users to identify various bottlenecks and redundancies in processes. Not only this, it also provides optimal solutions for the improvement of processes thereby saving considerable time, effort and money. It aims in delivering continuous improvement ideas to an organization meant for closing the gap between the present and the expected state. ProcessModel 5.5 is schedule for release August 1, 2013.
