Resurrecting Rodney Memorializes Elisa Lam
Moved by the bizarre case of Elisa Lam, Resurrecting Rodney memorializes her in song.

BriefingWire.com, 12/21/2015 - The strange little band aptly named Resurrecting Rodney has grasped the bizarre story of Elisa Lam and done what they do best: Play and sing about it.

The song is not without controversy. The band claims their are two spots on the master recording of the tune that they have not been able to locate in analyzing the individual tracks. So what are these sounds and how did they get on the recording?

The first of these is in the first line of the first verse when vocalist Rodney Crypt says, " you spread your wings". There is clearly a female voice singing along with Crypt but the band says it was never recorded and kind of just "showed up".

The second strange spot is during the electric guitar break. A clanking sound can be heard for at least two seconds. Once again, the sound cannot be located on the individual tracks.

Elisa Lam, a tourist from Canada, was eventally found in the water tank of the Hotel Cicil in Los Angeles and was seen on surveillance cameras talking to someone that simply wasn't there while riding an elevator. The roof of the hotel had locked doors and alarms and the water tank was sealed. So how did she get on the roof and into the water tank? Who is she talking to on surveillance footage?

Toxicology reports ruled out illegal substances. The band members of Resurrecting Rodney think they know Lisa's plight and they sing about it in their new single: Elisa Lam.

Elisa Lam by Resurrecting Rodney is now available on iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, and all of your favorite download sites.
