Format:

Four-Ball Match Play - The tournament will consist of two man teams divided in to12 flights of 6 teams per flight based on combined team handicap indexes. Each team will play 5 nine-hole matches within its flight to determine the flight champion. Flight champions qualify to compete for the overall championship in a four hole shoot-out following Saturday morning’s nine-hole matches. All play will be from the Blue tees. Players over 70 years of age may choose to play the White tees for a 3 shot deduction from their Blue tee course handicap.

Scoring:

Teams will receive one point for each hole won, one-half point for each hole tied, and zero points for each hole lost. The maximum point a team may win per match is nine points. There are forty-five possible points in each flight.

Handicap:

The course handicaps of all four players in each match are reduced by the course handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, which then plays from scratch. The maximum allowable course handicap differential between partners is 10 strokes after adjustment. In the event of a differential greater than 10 the higher handicap player will be adjusted down to maintain the 10 stroke differential. All indexes will be course adjusted and divided by half to determine the nine whole handicaps for each player.
