BriefingWire.com, 2/16/2012 - Second Amendment Rock Star Alan Gura to Address the NJ2AS on February 29, 2012

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Manahawkin, NJ - The New Jersey Second Amendment Society announced that Alan Gura, the well-known attorney who successfully argued the Heller, McDonald and Ezell cases before the Supreme Court of the United States, will be addressing the membership and guests of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society at the American Legion Post 129 on 2025 Church Road in Toms River, NJ at 7:30 PM the evening of Wednesday February 29, 2012.

“To have a speaker of this caliber and quality in the Garden State is quite exciting”, says Frank Jack Fiamingo, President of NJ2AS, “It will be wonderful to get insight from the man who has been instrumental in defending our right to keep and bear arms (RKBA).”

Gura is the founding partner of Gura & Possessky, PLLC. His achievement in Heller, McDonald and additional lawsuits has established the RKBA as an INDIVIDUAL right rather than a right of the “state militia” or the people as a “collective”. The importance of these decisions cannot be overstated.

Gura has agreed to deliver his presentation and also to conduct a Q&A session at the end. There is no one more familiar with our constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms than attorney Alan Gura.

Frank Jack Fiamingo can be reached for comment via email at President@nj2as.com or by phone at (609) 848-0507.

The New Jersey Second Amendment Society (http://www.NJ2AS.com) is a no compromise defender of the right to keep and bear arms formed to promote those rights protected under the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States within the legislature and the community.
