Perth, WA, February (Date), 2014 – To encounter the rising issue of unemployment in the country, the Australian Government has taken various initiatives through its government funded programs. And, The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) program is a part of such employment activities initiated by the government to help the unemployed youth.

The individuals who are seeking support to begin a new small business anywhere in Australia can join the NEIS program to get training, advice and income support for 12 months to start a small business. This program intends to promote entrepreneurship among the youth in Australia and is targeted at individuals who would prefer to start their own enterprise rather than finding a full-time job.

The Australian Government has contracted various organisations to implement the NEIS program and other Government funded courses for providing training to interested candidates in different parts of the country. The eligibility criteria for the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is that the candidate must be registered with Centrelink and in receipt of a benefit. Apart from that, the minimum compulsory age for the course is 18 years and the candidate should not have received NEIS Assistance in the previous two years.
