The Global Worry-Free Day
Introducing the Global Worry-Free Day: March 1st 7.00a.m-7.00p.m.

BriefingWire.com, 2/24/2014 - If worrying was a mutual fund, the stakes would go so high that traders and their entire family-tree members would retire for life.

We, the amazing human race deserve Oscars in worrying. We are rock-star worriers. We do it so well and I wouldn’t be surprised if we did it in our sleep as well. We worry every day, minute, and second of our waking lives.

We worry on holidays—days meant for celebration…such as, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, the Idi Mbarak day, our birthdays, and new years’ day. We worry before, during and after Thanks Giving Day; a day reserved for gratitude. Worrying has become so part of our mind-routines that if companies or organizations could, they would allocate a 15 minutes worry-break every 2 hours—so people could focus on worrying and then go back to work without worry interrupting their actions. We find reasons to worry whether they are valid or not. Sadly, we forget the immerse damage that worry does to our minds, bodies and spirits.

Therefore, I’m calling upon humanity to join me as I announce March 1st, 2014 the first day henceforth, representing the “Global Worry-free Day.

I’m advocating for this day to remind us all that it’s okay not to worry. It is okay to relax and take our minds off worldly things--at least for 12 hours. The Global Worry-Free Day is dedicated to the entire human race. If animals worried, they would be included as well. The ceremony begins at 7.00a.m. - 7.00p.m, and this time is applicable and adjustable to global times.

This might mean that some people stop worrying a few hours before others, and others a couple of hours after--depending on the region and/or country. The point in emphasis is to STOP mind clutter for 12 hours: find things to celebrate about, forget everything that creates worry and stress, focus on being productive rather than worrying, focus on the moment; and find a place in our minds to save this worry for later when we break the worry-fast.

Important suggestion: If negative thoughts invade your mind, and trust me they will, stop and interrupt them immediately. Do something silly. Sing a silly song such as: “I farted in church and no one knew it was me and I’m grateful;” I hope you get the point.

After those 12 hours of being worry-free, you will be amazed at the physical, emotional and mental benefits achieved from this exercise.

Meanwhile, I would have named this day the Global Happy Day; but knowing our corrupted minds, some might claim that worrying is part of their being-happy routine.

Let’s give our minds a break. Let’s make these 12 hours a “worry fast”. Let’s focus on the inside rather than the outside.

So, join me as we commemorate March 1st the Global Worry-free day. Spread the word. The more people are informed about this day, the better it will be for you. Because then the people around you will be so focused on creating peace within themselves rather than stressing the crap out of you.

I’m proposing yellow as the color for this day. But if this color for some reason makes you worried, wear any other color that relaxes you.

I will post a tip on my blog www.wordpress.com/tapthegood for the next 5 days to prepare you for this day.

Please post any worry-free tips you know on that blog--as we all prepare for the worry-fast day.

Remember to reward yourself for being worry-free on that day.
