In a statement released by Pryor Cashman, the law firm representing Kanye West in his recent legal battle with crypto-currency creators "CoinyeWest," West's attorneys intend to increase their pressure and take "more-aggressive" measures to prevent the coin from gaining any additional popularity. Specifics of their strategy were not released, but it is rumored that the law firm intends to make a push to acquire all Coinye currently on the market and cease all transactions between users of the coin. Some speculate that this is a ploy to obtain all the rights from the developers of the coin. Not addressed, however, is how they would prevent additional quantities of the coin from reaching buyers intent on acquiring the currency.Coinye is said to be the hottest release of the year, amongst a slew of Litecoin copycats, and is poised to challenge DOGE coin for the top spot in cryptocurrency ranks. One thing is for certain, Mr. West still seems to take pleasure in stepping in with comments when they aren’t desired.
