'Vagabondiva’ is due to be released in the UK and the USA on January 25th, 2014. Legendary producer Yoad Nevo describes its style as “A fascinating new way of combining World music and experimental Pop.”Renowned producers who worked with Ysan Roche on the album include Arty Skye (Madonna, Alicia Keys, Santana) and Yoad Nevo (Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Girls Aloud). The album will unleash her new distinctive blend of genres that she calls Black Yellow Pop, influenced by a range of artists from David Bowie and Marilyn Manson to Bjork and Gwen Stefani.. The title track ‘Vagabondiva’ is vibrant with a Dubstep influence; seemingly aggressive while sending a playful message. Other songs to look out for on the album include ‘Hell Is All The People I Carry Inside,’ inspired by Sartre’s No Exit (‘Hell is other people’),‘Porn Identity,’ and ‘Mafia World.’
Ysan Roche is a kooky, and anarchic female artist who has had success in both the music and fashion industries. Ysan Roche considers her persona to be made up of seven personalities, all merged into one character. These seven aspects of her persona: ‘The Anarchist,’ ‘The Little Girl,’ ‘The Diva,’ ‘The Intellectual,’ ‘The Alien,’ ‘The Madness’ and ‘The Dark Side’ represent experiences from different times in her life, in which she explored a wide range of different scenes and subcultures. She brings these personalities to her performances and creates a multi-dimensional and unforgettable experience.
