WWE Superstar CM Punk, a popular guest at numerous other Wizard World events, will make his first Wizard World Portland Comic Con appearance on Friday, January 24. The former WWE Champion will meet fans, sign autographs, pose for photographs and conduct an interactive Q&A session.Punk joins a few other notable celebrities already committed to Portland Comic Con, the first of 15 events on the 2014 Wizard World calendar, including Stan Lee, William Shatner, Norman Reedus, Ron Perlman, Robert Englund and many others.
“I am excited to be back at Wizard World and attend my first-ever Portland Comic Con event,” said Punk. “I’m looking forward to interacting with my fans from across the country. I always have a great time at Wizard World events, and can’t wait for this one to begin.”
A diehard comic fan, Punk wrote the introduction to the AVENGERS VS. X-MEN hardcover collection and appeared on the Warner Home Video documentary “Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics.”
Since 2006, Punk has added many accomplishments to his considerable résumé, including the WWE, World Heavyweight, World Tag Team, Intercontinental and ECW Championships.
Wizard World Portland Comic Con, produced by Wizard World, Inc.
