Albuquerque, NM – March 2, 2012A great pragmatist and philosopher once wrote: “The most important thing a person can do in life is to develop good habits.” In his book, Letting Go of Stuff, local author Darren L Johnson writes, “to develop good habits, one must first ‘let go’ of old unwanted habits.” The Letting Go of Stuff – Student Guidebook prepares students using six steps for developing the habit of accomplishing goals.
Darren L Johnson, founder of the Letting Go of Stuff® business and life guide series, announced today that the student guidebook is a specifically designed booklet. “It is a result of the work I have done with clients whose focus is preparing young adults for life beyond the teenage years. Effectively letting go is something that is not taught in the school systems,” says Johnson.
The guidebook is a sixteen page paperback booklet that is 6X9 in size. The front cover will depict the client's logo and the inside front cover has a letter from the leadership of the organization who uses it. “The student guidebook is specifically tailored for each client,” says Allyne Clarke, Expansion Expert for InsideOut Learning, Inc.
Described by book reviewers as a “must read” and having “great stories with incredible tools,” Johnson’s original book introduces two personal development models. It also offers seven secrets that, when applied, will allow one to let go and move forward personally and in business. The student guidebook is a re-purposed version of the original paperback book that was published in 2006, written specifically for students.
One major company whose focus is providing guidance to at risk student populations has purchased the Letting Go of Stuff Student Guidebook for all 415 of its on-campus students. Several other organizations are preparing to use the guidebook for their student populations.
