The annual manufacturer summit, attended by more than 300 global manufacturers in healthcare, provided attendees with the opportunity to collaborate on industry trends and issues. Burmans was selected as the first-ever “Shaping Healthcare Delivery” award recipient for enhancing access to treatment for Hepatitis C patients through an innovative partnership with AmerisourceBergen. In addition to providing improved access to medication, Burmans’ clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses and disease-specific customer service representatives provide ongoing, individualized care to patients and healthcare providers.
