Caring Companions and By Design HomeCare Join forces, Rebrands as Family Tree In-Home Care
San Antonio-based Caring Companions and By Design HomeCare, two premier providers of home care services, have closed on a transaction to join with and operate under the brand Family Tree In-Home Care.

BriefingWire.com, 7/01/2019 - San Antonio, TX -- San Antonio-based Caring Companions and By Design HomeCare, two premier providers of home care services, have closed on a transaction to join with and operate under the brand Family Tree In-Home Care. Earlier this year, Family Tree acquired the assets of Professional Caretakers of San Antonio. These latest series of transactions firmly establish Family Tree, a Genova Health company, as the premier provider of home care services in San Antonio as well as the largest employer of professional caregivers in that community. By Design’s founder, Ellen McClellan, will head Family Tree’s operations in San Antonio.

"We have long been committed to establishing ourselves as the premier home care provider in San Antonio, and our patience paid off with the opportunity to bring together top-tier home care professionals under one roof,” stated Daniel Gottschalk, President of Family Tree and Genova Health. “Throughout the past few years of studying the San Antonio market, we’ve held Caring Companions and By Design in the highest esteem due to their reputation, caliber, and market share.”

“We are proud to carry on the legacies of Caring Companions and By Design, two companies that have set the bar for quality home care services in the San Antonio community for over a decade," stated Alex Bonetti, CEO of Family Tree and Genova Health. "Investing in these combined teams aligns with our strategy of adding talent and experience in targeted communities where we believe our team can successfully provide Better Care. Better Health. Every Day."

San Antonio is the newest Texas community to be served by Family Tree. San Antonio is the seventh-most populous city in the United States and the second-most in Texas after Houston, where Family Tree is headquartered. The “Alamo City” enjoyed the largest population gain of any U.S. city in 2017, and was also the fastest-growing of the top ten largest cities in the United States from 2000 to 2010.
