This summer Hardy Park Bistro will entertain foodies with a new pop-up dinner series to take place at unexpected locations throughout South Florida. Chef Philip Darmon of Hardy Park Bistro is excited for the restaurant’s passion project that brings Fort Lauderdale locals together to embrace the unexpected! The dinner series coined “Summer Nights X HPB” will take place every third Thursday and Friday of the month, beginning in July and the first dinner will cost $100 per ticket, which includes a 4-course family style meal, wine, and beer pairings from Stacole Fine Wines and Stephens Distributing.
The first dinner will be held on Thursday, July 23rd and Friday, July 24th at the Penthouse of North Beach Hotel, located at 551 Breakers Ave, Fort Lauderdale FL 33304 in North Beach Village. This boutique hotel, a mere 500 feet from the beach, houses a mid-modern luxury penthouse adorned with Scandinavian furnishings that will serve as this month’s dining quarters.
“We chose North Beach Hotel because we love the free-spirited, funky vibe of the village and the sense of beach community their team has created,” Chef Darmon explains. “The Penthouse is the perfect backdrop to set the tone for Summer Nights X HPB.”
“Each of our other locations will embody a similar feeling, yet be unique from one another in nature. We want to create an environment that is just as imaginative as the food we are serving.”
At the first dinner, guests will enjoy a specialty cocktail hour, conversation with the chef throughout the evening and a family-style meal with only 60 other diners. Each installment event will be different with a menu and entertainment that celebrates creativity and spontaneity.
The first menu will embody a Mediterranean style with a touch of Australia to finish—true to the Hardy Park fashion. Tickets can be purchased through http://www.hardyparkbistro.com/#!summer-nights/cwm3.
Chef Darmon and his wife opened Hardy Park Bistro in 2013, offering casual yet sophisticated dining with a small menu that evolves weekly to showcase seasonal flavors. The Mediterranean and Southeast Asian-influenced cuisine stems from Chef Darmon’s upbringing in Australia and world travels as a hotel, modern bistro, and yacht chef. In addition to Summer Nights X HPB, Hardy Park will also launch breakfast service this month. For more information and full menus, visit www.hardyparkbistro.com.
