First-time filmmaker Corvet Williams debuts her short film ‘The Replacement’ at the 4 hearts short film showcase

Chicago, IL (July 2, 2012) First-time writer/director Corvet Williams’ short film ‘The Replacement’ will premiere at the 1st annual 4 Hearts Short Film Showcase on July 21st at The Holiday Star Theater in Park Forest from noon until 3pm. The event will feature red carpet interviews, screenings of short films, and a Q & A panel with the filmmakers. ‘The Replacement’ is a short film that explores the lives of a couple who finds new love, but their time together is cut short after a fatal accident. As time passes, friends try to comfort each other for the loss, but will they take their comfort too far?

Corvet is a Chicago based actress turned filmmaker who has a passion for the arts. She recently form her own production company, 4982 Films to open new doors and bring her ideas to life.
