Turning down a promise of financial support from the play makers, she decided she would not be controlled or puppeteered, even when this meant turning down key endorsements from prominent leaders in the community. Before her pen hit the paper on the morning of August 12, 2021, the swamp creatures began to rear their ugly heads. Dr. Horner chose, instead, to rise above the smoke. Queue the Dinosaurs!

“The baby dinosaurs have been a hit. We are a family and we decided to create a very special Dinoween for the community and call attention to the need for term limits. It is time to retire or devolve politicians who have either been in office on the school boards or within the same system too long, a.k.a ‘Dinosaurs,’ corrupting the education of our youth – just think; Texas schools rank 48th in the nation,” says Dr. Horner, “People loved seeing the Dino Power Play and we pray that more voters get inspired to come out to vote in school boards in our community, state and nation.”
