What we publish:

Fiery Seas is looking for well-written manuscripts that have been polished to shine. We want wonderfully written manuscripts that grab the reader and will not let go, with a strong hook and plot that merges together flawlessly and characters we never want to leave behind. While we maybe a Romance Publisher, the romance does not have to overpower the book. It can be in the background of a great adventure or edge-of-your-seat suspense.

Lengths:

We accept manuscripts of the following lengths:

Lake-side Reads (Novelette): 10,000-35,000 words

Bay-side Reads (Novella): 35,000-60,000 words

Ocean-side Reads (Novel): 60,000 words and up

Formats:

Novelettes and Novellas will be available in eBook only.

Novels will be available in eBook and print.

Guidelines:

If you have a manuscript that fits what we are looking for, then please follow these guidelines to submit.

Twelve-point type

Times New Roman font

Double-spaced

One-inch margins

Header with your name and the manuscript title

Footer with page number

Half-inch paragraph indentations for the first line of each paragraph

Align left (not justified)

Indicate scene breaks by inserting a blank line and centering the four *s in the center of the line

Begin chapters on new pages

Single space rather than two spaces after periods between sentences.

Include a cover letter containing author contact information, title of the book, word count, genre, and blurb in the body of the email.

Include a 500-1000 word synopsis of the book on the second page of the manuscript.

Please attach the first three chapters of the book in MS Word doc or rtf file.

*Label the file with Title_AuthorName_Subgenre*

Email the above documents to submissions@fieryseapublishing.com. Label the subject line with Title and Author Name.

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in unread submissions.

You will get an auto response that we received your email. Please allow eight weeks for a response before sending a follow-up email.

Beach Reads Anthology for Summer 2015 - We are looking for beach reads 15,000-25,000 words. Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2014. Email your full manuscript in MS Word or rtf file as attachment to submissions@fieryseaspublishing.com. Please include a cover letter with author information, title, word count, genre, and blurb in the body of the email. Subject should read: Beach Reads Anthology_Title_AuthorName. Failure to meet guidelines will result in unread submissions.
