Funding for Oil Tank Removal On Hold, Environmental Services Company Confirms
NJ property owners may still apply for oil tank removal funding. According to The Entech Group, applications will be placed on hold until and if funding becomes available.

BriefingWire.com, 4/12/2012 - The Entech Group Inc., a leading energy, engineering and environmental services company in NJ, confirms that the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) is no longer accepting new applications for the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Remediation, Upgrade and Closure Program for non-leaking tanks. This means that property owners in need of oil tank removal services in NJ will not be receiving funding from the state.

Although the funding is currently on hold, NJ property owners may still apply for funding by submitting an application that will be date stamped and held until, if and when, sufficient funds become available.

Property owners who are uncertain about whether or not they require oil tank removal services can contact The Entech Group in NJ for a free assessment. Entech offers NJ property owners an Environmental Liability Assessment Program that includes a complimentary consultation of the underground storage tank, advice and guidance to properly address all recognized environmental concerns, as well as a Summary of Findings letter for use and future submission to state governmental agencies, legal representatives and / or insurance representatives. According to Entech, the results of their findings will be a basis to advance an oil tank removal project to a swift and successful conclusion.

The Entech Group offers oil tank removal services in NJ as well as site remediation if a leak has occurred. NJ homes that are older than 15 years and still have the original underground oil tank are advised to have it removed.

An underground oil tank has the potential to contaminate soil and even drinking water if a leak occurs. A spill can contaminate groundwater affecting private wells, other nearby drinking water supplies, lakes, rivers and reservoirs. It is also not uncommon for the contamination to spread to neighboring properties.

Working with The Entech Group and their Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) can help oil tank removal in NJ be completed at an accelerated pace.
