All Cop’s Ain’t Bad is a nonprofit out of Georgia who has teamed up with a disaster relief nonprofit, Shine On Humanity out of Texas. Both of these organizations have very similar goals, helping communities get relief from the ongoing negative onslaught of life. A disaster, to these two organizations, is defined by uncontrolled events that occur unexpectedly to individuals, groups or the masses. “We are not concerned with what or which disaster that has plagued a family or community, but rather, how we may help to rebuild lives in a positive direction. No disaster is too small because they are all devasting and many times crippling”, explained Van Shotwell, COO of Shine On Humanity.

“Bridging the gap between officers and communities should not be a difficult matter, because cops are just regular people too. I use humor to help me cope with all of the horrific things that I have witnessed in my years of being a cop, so I will now use humor to help bridge the gap and bring more understanding on all sides”, said founder of All Cop’s Ain’t Bad, Daryll Triplett.

Respect is a significant word and a need for all lives. However, keeping communities safe takes a huge commitment and a love and dedication to law and order together, which sometimes does not end well. All Cops Ain’t Bad is dedicated to educating officers and communities on the power of compassion for others, no matter what their circumstances in life.
