The three-day extravaganza showcases the finest talent spanning from Africa to the United States. This year’s guest host Cynthia Bailey is a model, actor, and spokesperson most noted from her eight years on the popular hit television series, Real Housewives of Atlanta. HAPPA’s other host Omar Gooding is best known for acting roles in Ghost Dad and Baby Boy.

This year's award-winning highlights include fashions from Tanzania, the Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and beyond. These are cutting edge fashions tied into the entertainment industry. The featured designers are award winning trend setters and influencers who invite us into their current and futuristic vision of how clothing should be created and worn.

In addition to fashion, guests will be treated to an array of talented and nominated artists who will perform their original music on the HAPA stage. A variety of sounds from Hip/Hop, R&B, Reggae and Gospel will be featured. As in previous years, HAPA showcases up and coming artists, awarding them for their creativity and talent. Guests will also enjoy an evening of laughter by award nominated comedians.

The HAPAwards was founded by Tina Weisinger of Dream Entertainment. Tina has worked tirelessly adding her support to underserved communities within the African diaspora.
