Harleys for Hope Calls on Motorcycle Clubs, Veterans, Marines and Aggies to Rally for the Luton's
October 17 benefit ride will help longtime community servants rebuild after a devastating house fire

Jim and Stella Luton
BriefingWire.com, 10/13/2026 - THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Harleys for Hope is rallying motorcycle clubs, veterans, Marines, Texas A&M alumni and community members far and wide for a benefit ride supporting Jim and Stella Luton, whose home and belongings were destroyed by fire August 25, 2026 in Magnolia.

The ride takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026, beginning at Grace Fellowship of the Woodlands along Interstate 45. Registration opens at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. The requested donation is $35 for riders and passengers, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Jim and Stella.

At 80, Jim is a U.S. Marine veteran, Texas A&M graduate, retired schoolteacher and longtime minister. His life has been devoted to serving his country, educating children and helping others through his ministry. Stella, 79, is a retired Montgomery County District Clerk, mother and grandmother who has likewise spent decades supporting her family and community.

Now, after losing their home and everyday necessities, the couple faces the overwhelming challenge of starting over at a stage of life when they should be enjoying the security they worked so hard to build.

The benefit carries a simple message: “One Ride. One Heart. One Hope.” Organizers are inviting motorcycle clubs to participate together and encouraging veterans’ organizations, Marine Corps groups, Aggie networks, churches, businesses and neighbors to help spread the word and turn out in support.

The planned route includes stops at Conroe District Court downtown, Oakridge Road/3881, Cleveland Middle School and Porter VFW, concluding at Burger King in Conroe, 907 W. Davis St.

Community members do not need to ride a motorcycle to make a difference. Supporters can attend, contribute or share the event with their clubs, congregations, alumni groups and personal networks.

Jim and Stella spent their lives standing beside others. This benefit offers the community an opportunity to stand beside them as they begin rebuilding.

For complete ride details, review the accompanying event flyer. Veterans for America First and other organizations are stepping in to assist.

**Because no one should have to start over alone.**
