Bellingham, WA — November 7, 2025 — The family of Cathryn is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by her loved ones. Cathryn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, generosity, and deep connection to nature touched the lives of everyone who knew her.Her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren was the center of her world. Whether tending to her garden, caring for animals, or simply enjoying the serenity of the outdoors, Cathryn found joy in life’s simplest, most beautiful moments—and shared that joy freely with others.

In remembrance of Cathryn’s spirit, her family shares the following poem, written as a tribute to her enduring love:
The singing wind whispers low
A gentle lullaby, as the winds do blow
It carries the memories, of a love so true
Of Cathy, a mother, who loved her family anew
With a heart full of kindness, and a spirit so bright
She cared for her children, through day and night
Guiding them gently, through life's joys and fears
And wiping away tears, through all their doubts and years
As a grandmother, she loved with all her might
Spoiling her grandkids, with delight
Her laughter and smile, lit up the way
A constant presence, in their lives each day
But life had other plans, and she fought with might
A long hard battle, through the dark of night
Though her body weakened, her spirit remained strong
Her love for her family, never faltered or went wrong
Now she's gone, but her memory stays
A legacy of love, that guides us through life's maze
The singing wind whispers low
Of a mother's love, that will forever glow.
Cathryn’s family expresses their deepest gratitude to all who have reached out in love, prayer, and support during this difficult time. Every message, memory, and donation helps keep her light shining.
