Is The BBC A News Channel With A Royal Charter Of Neutrality - Or Another Right Wing News Platform?
GB2GB have submitted a formal complaint to the BBC regarding a pattern of reporting that, in my view, falls short of the impartiality and accuracy expected of the UK’s public broadcaster.

BriefingWire.com, 3/16/2026 - I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the BBC — not because of one article, but because of a pattern of reporting that no longer meets the standards of impartiality the public deserves or what their Royal Charter DEMANDS..

Three issues stand out more in line with the standards of the Multi-Billionaire owned right wing media 90% domination biased reporting in the UK.

1/. The BBC said The Assisted Dying Bill “ran out of time”, but did not report that six Conservative peers tabled more than 1,200 amendments — a tactic that made progress impossible - and against the will of the British people.

The BBC also failed, once again, to add 'all' up the basic facts it reported, leaving audiences with a misleading impression of why that actually happened implying that it was just 'politicians' not agreeing.

2/. The 'omission' of the £59?billion OBR finding The BBC had 'not' explained was the OBR’s published analysis showing that the freeze on income-tax thresholds - from 2013 to 2028 of what was planned to be should the Conservatives had stayed in power - raises around £59?billion through fiscal drag.

*This is one of the largest stealth tax increases in modern British history, yet the BBC has deliberately not provided this context for obvious reasons*

3/. Democratically more important, the BBC's selective treatment of the last 14 years References to the previous Conservative government are shut down whenever Labour mentions them, yet freely used when they benefit the framing of a story about 'what the conservative party did'.

The most telling example was when interviewing a Labour Minister, they stopped the Minister from raising the 'last 14 years' reference by saying "we're not going down memory lane now, are we", proof if needed of a protective action on behalf of one party against another one.

This inconsistency undermines impartiality, and has done now for the last 2 years of a Labour Government.

As Founder of GB2GB, I believe we must call this out calmly, factually, and persistently. Britain needs honest reporting, not selective omissions.

Once again, Get Back 2 Great Britain doing the work that Billionaire owned right wing media will never do?
